We’ve been here just under 2 weeks and nearing the conclusion of our family holiday here Actually I’d say it’s been more of an adventure really... We booked our trip... read more here well in advance so I had ample time to look at some of the tours and activities that are available here. This company constantly came up on my Facebook feed with glowing reviews (AKA tours with frank the tank) I contacted him and received a speedy reply, after a brief discussion he sent me some in-depth information on his tours and was very impressed! We chose 4 excursions with him ( magic of the rainforest, the short atv tour, water combo inc sunset cruise and the adrenaline combo. We placed a deposit via PayPal and everything was booked! We then received detailed information on times, dates etc... I must say this company is extremely well run! The evening prior to each of our trips we received detailed itinerary for the following day - time , pick up location, reminders on what we you take with us and details on our guide for the day All the excursions were fantastic and offered really good value for money! Each guide was fun,extremely knowledgable about the country, culture and the activities they specialised in. The activities themselves were extremely well planned out and really enjoyable- we especially loved the water combo and adrenaline combo! ️ I really can’t recommend this company... What a great experience overall. Frank the Tank booked it for us and he was so so so helpful right from the start when I was researching what to do... read more in the Guanacaste area. The challenge was seeing the country and all the sights with a 3 and 5 year old in tow. I wanted all the sights but minimal walking and Frank arranged it all. He basically took two group tours and merged them and tailored them to our needs. He was excellent with answering questions right away and extremely customer friendly. Getting to the tour... we HIGHLY recommend our tour guide Eddie Rojas. He was amazing. So so great with our children that really improved the results of the trip and made it so bearable for the kids to endure the long day with us. We are shocked they lasted 12 hours including all the travel having fun with Eddie the whole time. When the kids didn’t want to go to the mud bath for example, Eddie would entertain him for us. Outstanding customer service!!
He taught us all about the Guanacaste tree, mango and manga trees. Cashew fruit tree and so on. Not just a tour if point a to b to c. He explained things and pointed out facts all throughout the trip. He also made sure to take tons of pictures for us. We are so grateful that we got lucky to have Eddie as our guide.
Private was a dream with kids especially. I highly recommend the whole tour and Eddie Rojas to be your guide!!!!
