THIS FULL DAY EXPEDITION IS DESIGNED FOR REAL NATURE LOVERS..
The first stop will be a hidden gem, you won't find in any guidebook. The Magnificent Llanos del Cortez waterfall is simply an Oasis! Surrounded by a sandy, gold-speckled beach and lush rainforest, the waterfall is the perfect place to take in the majesty of Costa Rica. After the refreshing swim, we will stop at the slopes of the Tenorio Volcano, where we will embark on a two hour hike with many stops to see the variety of flora and fauna in the surrounding TROPICAL RAINFOREST. We will walk on 3 Amazing hanging bridges that traverse the forest canopy ranging from 35 to 40 meters in height. LUNCH TIME!! It's time to indulge in a delicious authentic Costa Rican lunch!
End the day with an incredible walk through a beautiful botanical garden where you can see over 10 different species of frogs including the incredible Red-Eyed Tree Frog, and the incredible Poison Dart Frog and observe sloths in their natural habitat.
This is an excellent opportunity for observing, -Birds, -Butterflies, -Bromelias, -Orchids, Sloths… and become immersed in THE SPLENDOR OF THE TROPICAL JUNGLE.
WHAT TO BRING?: Hiking shoes, rain gear, extra clothing, binoculars, insect repellent, cameras.
