The best sportfishing in Guanacaste

It was a COVID conscious activity with adequate reminders to keep masks on in the appropriate areas (like on the bus). My husband and I love to be active on our vacations but had kept it to fishing until week 3 when we finally said, let’s do something off the beach. The day was packed with action but not so much that you felt like you couldn’t keep up. The highlight was 100% the rapids which was not as scary as it can sound. Second runner up was the zip line - a super unique course full of variety from views to Tarzan swinging and the rappelling. Well thought through and super safe. Unfortunately the horse back riding ranks last for us. It was a large group and the horses seemed not to like that. My husband and I did fine and had a nice ride but some riders felt they were crowded on the trail. The hot springs was more than what I expected! It was like an outdoor bathhouse. Fantastic! I’d do it again in a heartbeat and I think everyone in our group would agree. Great time had by all! …

The tour guides go above and beyond to... read more satisfy their customers. The first tour, Frank greeted us on the beach and introduced to us to our tour guide for the day, Harold. Harold went out of his way to see that we had the full experience and saw as much of Costa Rica that our time allowed. Harold was such an enjoyable tour guide, he kept us smiling and laughing at all times. We enjoyed Harold so much that we requested him for another tour later that week (Which Frank allowed and made it happen!). Each of the other tour guides were great and also went out of their way to see that we had a great time. This group truly makes you feel welcome!!
