  Fantastic!! This is what you call a real tour (A++ to Daniel & Luis!!!) Now, mind you, this tour is authentic in that you are in Costa Rica... read more doing activities with the locals! This is not a typical tourist excursion where you are belt lined around "tourist like locations" where ALL the other tourists are. Daniel is the man!

The rainforest hike and hanging bridges: Be in shape and get ready to HIKE. My Mother in Law (67) struggled but made it. This is not for the faint of heart. I myself (43) slept like a baby after this amazing event!

The sanctuary: HOLY COW!! Christian was our guide, he found us frogs, bats, birds, and most importantly......perezozos........SLOTHS (5 to be exact).

These locals were kind! They were friendly!! They made this very special for my family!!

You won't regret this tour! My family will be back in a couple months to do more with these awesome folks ^^

  My family and I go on at least three excursions on every vacation we take. We have done dozens in Punta Cana, across Mexico, St. Maarten, Hawaii, etc. The excursions... read more that our 25 person group were able to do with Frank the Tank and Costa Rica Unique were the most exciting, personal and fun excursions we have ever been on. It is hard to make a 25 person group (ages range from newborn to 72 years) happy, but Costa Rica Unique had every single person in our group singing their praises. We did the Unique Volcano and Rainforest tour and the Wildlife Safari Tour and they were both worth more than double what we paid. We saw crocodiles, lizards, bats and monkeys on the river tour, saw multiple waterfalls, bathed in natural volcanic mud baths and hot springs, road on horseback and did/saw everything that was beautiful and special about Costa Rica. They made everything simple and easy for us. Everything was clean and beautiful, and most importantly they really showcased the beauty of their country. They went above and beyond the tour and pulled off the side of the road to fruit stands to show us what the locals eat and even added some additional and informative stops to the trip!
